Recently I had the opportunity the see a video of KG 27. It was a collection of personal recordings of the doctor of III./KG 27. Dr.Keller if I recall well. Almost at the end of the video III./KG 27 was transferred from Russia to Hanover-Langenhagen. During a ceremony Dr.Keller made his recording and at the end of the ceremony he followed with his film-camera a band. At the background the control tower of Langenhagen could be seen. At the front-wall of the control tower I could see a big emblem. Below the emblem it looked like there was a motto visible. The quality of the recording was not exellent, so I could not see what the motto was and how the emblem looks like. Then I realised myself, was that common use? Had every Fliegerhorstkommandantur his own emblem? So I start asking around at several boards but sofar(November 22nd, 2000) nobody knows! Do you?
