The Do-24 was one of Germany's most elegant seaplanes. Andre has done an absolutely first rate job in covering this aircraft. The site address is:

http://www.fly.to/do24

The sections of his site are as follows:

Development - A short history of the early development, with isometric and plan view drawings. Andre has used thumbnail images which can be seen enlarged, a very convenient feature. He uses this technique throughout his site.

Prototypes - A short history of the Do-24 V1, V2, V3, & V4, with photos.

Do-24K - A short history of this variant with numerous photos.

Do-24N - A short history of the N-1 variant with 9 photos.

Do-24T - The history section hasn't been written yet. Numerous photos are presented.

Do-24MS - There isn't much known about this aircraft, although one is known to have existed and Andre has a photo to prove it.

Post-war - Again, the text is under construction. There are 6 beautiful color photos, a black and white, one plan view drawing, and 4 side view drawings.

Production list - Literally the epitome of a resource. Laid out in grid fashion, every Do-24 produced has its own individual page you can open up with its own history and, where available, photos. It doesn't get any better than this.

Stamzeichen - A table matching up the Stamzeichen with the Werk Nr. Click on the Werk Nr. and you get the plane's history.

Technical data - Basic data for 4 variants.

Profiles - A dozen color profiles of 5 variants.

Units - Brief information is presented on each unit to use the Do-24. This appears to be under construction, as there are details presented for only about half the units listed.

Musea - Parts of or whole Do-24's can be found today in Australia, Germany, possibly the U.S., Spain, the Netherlands, underwater near Kirkeness, Norway, and underwater off the coast of France.

Stories - Seven episodes regarding the use of the Do-24.

Video - (1) Claude Dornier showing the new Do-24 V1 technical drawings. (2) Actual footage of the seatrials of the Do-24 V3 in
September 1937. (3) Do-24N-1 ; Werk Nr. 78 ; KD+GE during a take-off run.

Models - The Do-24 in kit and scratch-built form.

What's new - The usual list of additions to the site.

Just found this by following a link. Looks to be very thorough, I have not spent any time digging through it but it may prove to be worthwhile for those interested in such things...
