Wanted: Burchard's material on FlgK VIII @ Kursk 1943
Fri Dec 28 10:50:49 2001

Is there anyone who has saved material from Pawel Burchard's excellent website dedicated to the air war during the Battle of Kursk in July 1943?

Unfortunately, this website disappeared about a year and a half ago. The URL was:

http://www.free.net/pl/~dedeusz/

I would be interested in comparing Burchard's detailed Tagesmeldungen for Fliegerkorps VIII and Luftflotte 6 with my own material. I remember that his material was very detailed. I've tried to contact Pawel, but unfortunately I failed to reach him. So if anyone has got this material, please contact me.

Best wishes

Christer Bergström

If you go to the website address:

http://www.geocities.com/dedeusz

You will get the message:

"Sorry, but this page will no longer be available...
for several reasons -- but most importantly for I've been unable to make any updates for almost a year now :>
-- due to a general lack of any new material and also a lack of time.

Possibly it will be back sometime, at least I'll try.
Best wishes and many thanks for all past visitors.
Pawel

You can still contact me using mizio@link.pl "

So, perhaps, there may still be a way to obtain the information that had been on this site.

Regards,
Richard

Sorry for bringing up a different issue....

Are you the author of the (currently closed) website on "Air Battle over Kursk" and if so, any plans for revitalizing the same ?

Is Pawel Burchard's excellent website "Air Battle during the Battle of Kursk" down again? If so, does anyone know if it is only temporarily?
