Search for a friend

Hello, I am on a search for a friends' father. His name was Erwin Horst Sembach and he was a navigator on He-111s', right from the beggining of the war. He was from Prussia and when the war ended was captured by the Americans. After 2 years in US captivity, he and his family immigrated to the States, where he died 5 years ago. His son and good friend of mine is on a search about anything for his fathers' military carrer, unfortunatelly his unit(s) are unknown to us. Any help would be mostly appresiated.

If you know the name, day of birth and place of birth of this person you ask the Zentralnachweisstelle in Aachen Germany if they can do a search for information about his father. It will cost DM 30/half hr. See their webpage. See also Research Guide at this website.
