According to mfm F.9/1138 Archive Munchen, Lufthansa plane crashed at Fruska Gora, near Novi Sad, Yugoslavia (at that time Ujvedek, Hungaria) on 23 October 42. Any details about it?
Tagesmeldung O.B.Sudost (mfm NAW T-311 R-181/1205) states that Lufthansa "Ju 30" was shot down by fighters south/southeast of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, on 2 September 44. This could match one of two Ju 52 claims made by 307.ftr sq 31.FG on that thay in approx.that area. Any more details about this plane or about the other Ju 52?

Dear Boris,

I found this on Hugo Junkers home page:
Ju52, D-AUWA, named "Gerhard, Amann", shot down at Ivanca 02.09.1944.

Just a little step,
Hope this helps
Peter

The aircraft involved in the crash on 22 October 1942 (note the correct date!) was Ju 52/3m te W.Nr. 7208, D-AYGX "Johannes Höroldt" enroute from Budapest to Belgrade. It hit woods on the North side of Fruska Gora 30 meters below the peak at a height of 380 meters while flying in clouds. The crash site is located 5 kilometers South of Bukovac/Croatia (not near Novi Sad). The crew of 3 and all 14 passengers were killed. Initially it was reported erraneously by the Luftwaffe authorities at Semlin airfield on that evening , that the DLH plane had landed safely at Neusatz (Novisad) and would continue to Semlin/Belgrade the next morning - but this was in fact a "Sanitäts-Ju" also enroute to Belgrade.

The correct registration of the crashed DLH plane on 2 September 1944 was D-AUAW, Ju 52/3m g14e 641039, which was reportedly attacked by 3 enemy fighters and downed near Ivanca, ca. 28 kilometers Southeast of Belgrade's Semlin airfield. D-AUAW was enroute from Sofia to Belgrade and the crew of 3 and all 2 passengers werde killed.
