Dear Richard,

I have had the pleasure of being in Austria several times for business. So Schwechat airfield in the seventies was well know to me. I never had the opportunity to do research in archives, BUT once I have bought a book called:"Die Luftwaffe in Österreich 1938-1945". The writer was Othmar Tuider. At page 123 he gives a survey of "Primär- und Sekundärquellen". In this list several Luftwaffe files from BA/MA were mentioned and the above mentioned archives and files. Acc. to him these were the only Luftwaffe files in archives in Austria. Of course it is possible that private persons could still have original Luftwaffe documents.
