Can someone tell me the location of Drope (also known as B-105 when occupied by 2 Tactical Air Force)?

Hi Nick,
I searched my Vector Globe CD-ROM that's loaded with 2.7-million worldwide place names plus full colour maps of the entire world down to about 1 : 10,000 scale, and
there was only one Drope listed. It's exactly 13 km NE of Lingen/Germany near the Dutch - German border.
Hope this helps.

Hello!
Now, Drope airfield has been 15 Km ONO of Lingen/Ems (523540 N - 072825 O). It has been a "Schattenplatz", thatmeens it has been used as an auxiliary airfield for one
or more "Fliegerhorste".
Today there´s nothing left to see.
Kind regards,
Björn

Vector Globe by Cartografx is a digital world atlas in full color, and it's the most detailed 3-D world atlas ever designed for the PC. The search function allows you to go instantly to more than 2.7-million place names, zoom in and zoom out on them, and measure their distance from, say, a nearby large city, in either miles or kilometers. You can find out more, including how to buy it, at the Cartografx website: www.cartografx.com . It's faster than greased lightning and the best damn place finder I've ever seen. The last time I looked, I think it was only around $10-15.
Check it out.....
