Looking for any informations about airfield "Fliegerhorst Langendiebach" / Germany. Langendiebach is located NEN Frankfurt. At time helicopter airfield of USAAF.

I am looking for pictures, paperworks, maps, etc. any Information. Thanks for your help.

There is a map (WW2 era) of the airfield in "Fliegerhorste und Einsatzhafen der Luftwaffe" by Karl Ries and Wolfgang Dierich, published by Motorbuch Verlag in 1993 (ISBN 3-613-01486-6). There is also a written description of its exact location (21km ENE of Frankfurt/Main, 5km NE of Hanau. Covername "Briefwaage," Allied code (Allcode) "Y91," 50 10 00 N -- 08 58 00 E.

Here are some additional details:

1939-40: Langendiebach operational as a Leithorstkommandantur under Kdo.Flughafenbereich (Koflug) Langendiebach/Luftgaukommando XII.
Apr 40: ZG 26 elements based there.
1941: Flugplatzkommando 31/XII Langendiebach.
1942: Fliegerhorstkommandantur A 31/XII Langendiebach and still under Koflug Langendiebach.
Sep 42: Maj. Gustav Müldner appointed Kommandant of Fliegerhorst A 31/XII Langendiebach.
25 Oct 43: FHK E(v) 22/VII Langendiebach (Koflug 13/VII).
9 Jun 44: Fliegerhorstkommandantur A(o) 22/VII Langendiebach subordinate to Kdo.Flughafenbereich 13/VII (Gelnhausen)/Luftgaukommando VII.
Jun 44: III./NJG 2 based there.
1 Jan 45: FHK A(o) 22/VII Langendiebach (Koflug 13/VII) with subordinate Platzkommandos Gelnhausen and Altenstadt.
23 Mar 45: FHK A(o) 22/VII still at Langendiebach; Horst Kommandant this date was Obstlt. Julius Liebrecht.
2 Apr 45: Fliegerhorst Langendiebach believed to have been evacuated on or about this date.
[There were many other air units based there from time-to-time, but you will have to dig these out yourself.]
