Does anyone have any details concerning the attack on Offrethun A/F on 42.07.24? Reportedly some Me 109s were shot up there. Also any comments concerning the A/F itself? Location suggests it may be satellite A/F for Marquise (it seems O. is not mistaken with the latter) or even an decoy site.
Thanks
Franek

The airfield lies adjacent to a village of the same name exactly 9.3 km NNE of Boulogne. It was classified as a dispersal field under Koflug 8/III (HQ at St-Omer) and was assigned the camouflage number (Tarn-Nr.) 374.

As for the attack, one of the RAF experts will have to lend a hand. I don't have the appropriate references or documentation.

Thanks! I think I'm not the strongest on Lw A/Fs. http://www.lwag.org/ubb/wink.gif
Regarding the attack, I need the German data, not the Allied one. Don Caldwell doesn't mention it in his book, stating that there were ne RAF activities which seems to be incorrect.
