Brackel airfield, Dortmund

Can anybody tell me the history of this airfield. I served there in the Rotal Artillery, when it was known as 'Napier Barracks. There was quite a lot of evidence left, from when it was used by the Luftwaffe. The place is now derelict, but you can see photos as it is now if you log onto 36 Heavy Air Defence Regt., R.A. website.
The info I have obtained is; 1 Group of the Destroyer Sqdn., 'Refuge Wessel' (I/134), later renamed ZG26, equipped with Arado 68E and F. Later, from Autumn 1939 BF109 and BF 110's.
III/JG54 from 1940 until '41, then with BF109 and staff from IV/NJG1. Night Fighters with BF109, He219 and JU88's
Hope thi all makes sense?..........Nick.
