Writting an article about the air-field of Tatsinskaya/Tazinskaja, I wanna know how large was the Feldflugplatz Tazinskaja?

Is there any map or drawing of Tatsinskaja??

For the supplies/rations in Tatsinskaya:
Who transported them to the air-field??
Were the supplies also flown in??

At moment I use some of

Prit Buttar's Russian Maps ( http://homepage.ntlworld.com/prit.buttar/russia.htm )

02.08.03-1321z--It is difficult to give dimensions of the Tazi airfield. - Everything was covered with snow. - At a certain time 23rd/24th December around 175/185 Ju52 aircraft were at one time standing wing by wing in several rows. The airfield might have been around 5 to 6 km long and around 2 to 3 km wide, with provisional bunkers in the outskirts, containing airfield operations, radio operations, weather stations, fuel and other supplies.

There was a rail road line on one side of the airfield. It is supposed that some supplies later loaded on the transport aircraft and fuel had arrived at Tazi on the railroad and/or by lorries. - Other cargo and some sensible equipment and/or personnel had no doubt arrived by air.

The main fact in this giant operation was the improvisation in all matters, in the composition of the cargoes each aircraft loaded, and - important - the high level of service spirit of the airfield loading commandos and the aircraft crews to get the supplies off to the destination - Pitomnik.

And the same in Pitomnik, where the airfield commandos had to work under continuous air attacks from the Russians. The landing af de Ju52 aircraft frequently was carried out under Russian bomb attack on the airfield. That was just hell!
