Le Mans Airfield Bombing Raid, 9/10 June 1944. RAF/RCAF

I am researching results of a bombing raid on 9/10 June 1944, carried out by RAF/RCAF on Le Mans Airfield, France. Conflicting accounts... 1st - no damage to Luftwaffe on airfield, only craters. 2nd - numerous damage to Luftwaffe A/C, many buildings destroyed, numerous craters, photos?casualties? I am researching Uncle whom participated in this raid with RCAF, he would be killed the following week on a raid to Sterkrade, Germany (20th sortie).
