Re a recent query on this aircraft, there are parts of it still in existence. They are on display at Lennoxlove House in Haddington just East of Edinburgh.

This is the Duke of Hamilton's estate, whom it is believed Hess was trying to contact.

Part of the tour of the house includes information and a display on Hess. I believe the wreckage includes one of the tailfins.

The Scottish Tourist Board will provide info on the house. I would contact the house to ensure the display is still there, since it was several years ago that I visited Lennoxlove.

Yours Aye,
Bryce.

P.S. Thanks for your reply Richard, you have an excellent site!

Hi Guys,

There is also an engine from the same aircraft at the Scottish Museum of Flight at East Fortune. And I believe that Rudolph Hess's Iron Cross along with a few other pieces are on display at the Templar Lodge Hotel near Edinburgh.

I think rear fuselage and other bits are held by the IWM - probably at one of their sub-sites, possibly Cosford - worth checking their website.
