I am looking for any available information about the USAAF raid on Peenemünde 18 July, 1944. I believe the raid was part of OPERATION CROSSBOW and participating USAAF BombGroups were 91st, 306th and 381st.
Information I need help with is about defending Luftwaffe Groups and any records of downed or wounded USAAF aircraft, and particularly if any Luftwaffe a/c followed wounded USAAF a/c over the Baltic Sea.
