"Did you know that (German) Air Force pilots trained in Russia (the city of Lipetz) prior to 1933? Researchers from Lipetz are very interested in access to materials such as photos, documents etc. We have produced a 25 minute film documentary about the (German pilot training school) events. We offer an information exchange for interested parties."

My own footnote for anyone interested - The secret Lipetz school was established through the efforts of Kurt Student and Hugo Sperrle because the Paris Air Agreement of 1926 severely limited German military air activity. The centre was a part of the German "Ministry of Transport" and Reichswehr personnel were temporarily released from military service in order to attend. Course content consisted of military flight operations as well as staff training, strategy and tactics etc. From 1928 and 1931 Lipetz trained almost all of the officers who later held senior command positions within the Luftwaffe.
