Pete,
Could you possibly help? Do you have a map of the
Airfield and do you have any details about the Crash of
a He.177A-3 of Wekusta 2 on 19th August 1944.I have an account from thge pilot about the Crash along with his photo
if you are interested. You are most welcome to the other research that I have on this Accident.
Regards
Brian.

Brian,
Will check out my ref. books. My research only covers 1/KG40 & 5/KG40 but I might find some info. Will let you know.
No, I don't have a map. Would like sight of one. I called in to the Museum de Jean Moulin beginning of May in Bordeaux, met a Madame Pommies, curator, very helpful but not much English. Contact is;

Pete.

(I tried a number of variations of the above URL without success. I also tried Google with similar bad luck. Perhaps the site was temporarily down.

Regards,
Richard)
