Rene covers this operation on his website at:
http://get-me.to/september1944
At the moment, there is very little Luftwaffe information on his site. Recognizing this, he came to 12 O'Clock High! requesting assistance:

Dear Micael,
I'm working on a website http://get-me.to/september1944 and trying to picture the Luftwaffe during Market Garden September 1944 with all of it's aspect.
Do you know where I can find information about :

- Order of Battle
- Role of the Luftwaffe during Operation

Hope you can help me

Information can be found in the London Public Record Office in translated extracts of Luftflotte 3's diary for September 1944 and in the Ultra intercepts and in P/W interrogation reports on luftwaffe aircrew.
Also, RAF and USAAF combat reports will give you information about encounters with German aircraft.
Ulf Balke's "Der Luftkrieg in Europa, Band 2" mentions KG 2's participation in a raid on Eindoven and there are photos of the damage in After the Battle Publications' "Operation Market-Garden Then and Now"

Rene, one of the chapters in the book "Graf & Grislawski: A Pair of Aces", which will be out next month, deal with the Luftwaffe's operations over the Market Garden landing areas. Well, two chapters if we include the aftermath, which was when Alfred Grislawski was shot down and wounded.

Hello Rene,
Except for Nick Beale's info, I would advise you to read Wolfgang Späte's account of JG 54; use the Bundesarchiv/Militärarchiv microfilm C 2027 N-2 (this one contains many Luftwaffe claims of Market Garden); check volume 2 of G.Zwanenburg's book "En nooit was het stil" etc.
I don't want to scare you off but you first have to do a lot of research before you even can think of putting that info on the net. Much has be published already... Good luck!

Hello Rene,
I wish you good luck with your intention, but let me tell you this: I am busy with tracing a 30 min. aerial battle which took place on 18.9.44 around my home area (between Venlo and Ruhr area) between two German und two US fighter units. I am working on it for about three years and have appr. found out 30 pct. of all the vital details, down to the crashsites of all the losses in that particular battle. This is to give you an imagination of the efforts necessary. Occasionally I will let you take part in my results, but this will still take some time.
Regards, Juergen Haus
