Here's what I have on I./KG 155:

I./KG 155 (First Formation)

(Apr 36 – Spring? 38) Formed on 1 Apr 36 from the Gruppe sized KG 455, the so-called Fliegergruppe Giebelstadt, equipped with Do 23G. By spring 1937 the Gruppe had re-equipped on Do 17E. On 15 Mar 37 the Gruppe was split into I./KG 155 at Illesheim and III./KG 355 at Giebelstadt, with this becoming official on 1 Apr 37. On 1 Apr 38 it transferred to Straubling but was soon moved to Wiener-Neustadt after the annexation of Austria, and at some unknown date was renamed I./KG 158, probably before Jul 38.

Kommandeur:
Obstlt. Holzhauser? (? – 37 - ?)

I./KG 155 (Second Formation)

(Nov 38 – May 39) A new I./KG 155 was formed on 1 Nov 38 at Langendiebach by the redesignation of I./KG 254, with He 111. It was probably involved in the invasion of the remainder of Czechoslovakia in Mar 39. On 1 May 39 it was renamed as I./KG 55 at Langendiebach.

Kommandeur:
Obst. Joseph Brunner (1 Nov 38 – 30 Apr 39)
