Hello everybody,
I'm presently making a small book concerning the liberation of my aera in the south of Normandy near Le Mans in France.
I went to Washington (Nationale Archives) in order to read the After Action Reports of the 5th Armored Divison which liberated my aera. I discovered that several Flak Abt.
were in my country around 7-11 august 1944. Some of them concern the 13.Flak Division (as the 124., 842..., ) but I found other unities which I don't know where they
come from. It concern the : - 11300 Flak Abt., 11400 Flak Abt., 11500 Flak Abt., 12400 Flak Abt., 13100 Flak Abt., 15 Fak Abt., 194 Flak Abt., and the leichte
Flak-Abteilung 78. This last one was send in Normandie even when the rest of the 3. Lw. FeldDiv stay in Russia.
Do you have some informations concerning those units ?
Sincerely
Fabrice AVOIE
