On May 2 1945 an Arado Ar-234 (4U+EH)from 1.(F)/123 was shot down at 17.10 by four Spitfires XIV's, of 350 (Belgian) squadron, whilst on approach for landing at Hohn. The German Pilot Oblt. Worzech survived the crash. The 125 Wing ORB states that P/O Watkins, F/Lt Bangerter, F/Sgt King and F/O Van Eckh shared the victory - at the time they were operating from B.118 Celle.
