On 10/Feb/40, Bf109E-3 Wnr 5013 of I./JG 1 was lost (100%) after an engine fire near Krefeld (source JG 1 history by Mombeek).

The above source list no human casualty and the pilot involved is unknown but a French magazine says the pilot was killed, name not given. If somebody knows more of it, I'm interested

Also the fact that the WNr is know is rather unusual for this part of the war and may indicate a picture of the wreck exists ?

Then some questions about losses listed in 'The Blitz then and now, vol 1'. Crews of some planes are not fully listed and I would like to have the full names if possible:

26/Oct/1939: Do18D Wnr 0731 of 2/506 (or 2/106) shot down in North Sea. All four crew captured: Lt zur See Fhr ron Reitenstein, Lt zur See Korner and two missing names.

16/Oct/1939: Ju88A-1 4D+AK of Stab I./KG 30 shot down by 602 Sqn in Firth of Forth. Hptm H. Pohle (Kdr) captured. Uffz K Seydel and Gefr A Schleicher killed. One unnamed NCO missing.

17/Oct/1939: Do18 8L+DL WNr 0809 of 2/606 shot down off Berwick by 607 Sqn. All four crew MIA: Oblt zur See Seloga and three unnamed NCOs.

21/Oct/1939: He115B S4+DH of 1/406 shot down in North Sea by 46 Sqn (one of four lost). All three crew MIA: Oblt zur See Peineman and two unnamed NCOs.

10/Nov/1939: Do18D K6+DL WNr 0804 of 3/106 shot down off Scarborough by two Hudsons of 220 Sqn. Oblt zur See W Lütjens missing. Remaining (3?) crew rescued by Dutch ships (and interned ???)

13/Jan/1940: He111H-2 F6+LH of 1(F)/122 shot down off Fifeness by 602 Sqn. Uffz G. Kahle captured. Three unnamed NCOs missing

3/Feb/1940: Ju88A-1 of 2./KG 30 shot down by AA fire off the Moray Firth. Hptm H. Rosenthal (StaKa) and 3 NCOs rescued from the sea and captured.

7/Mar/1940: He111P T5+AH of 1(F)/ObdL shot down by 603 Sqn off Aberdeen. Lt Fröse captured injured. Three unnamed NCOs missing (a French source says four crew killed).

28/Mar/1940: He111H-2 of 1(F)/122 shot down off WIck by 43 and 605 Sqn. All four crew missing: Oblt Gollmann and 3 unnamed NCOs.

29/Mar/1940: Ju88A-1 4D+AP of 6./KG 30 shot down by AA fire in Cresswell Bay. Oblt R Quadt, Fw G Hartung and Uffz E Hesse killed. One unnamed NCO missing.

Thanks in advance

Since posting, I have discovered that the Volksbund seems to list none of the airmen missing in North Sea 1939-1940, only those buried somewhere. I usually use this site to find the full names of men missing (works well for Kriegsmarine losses) and killed

So the full names you list are twice welcome.
