Looking for at photo of Hptm. Kurt Ebersberger's Fw 190A(1 og 2) april 1942. Caldwells photo history of JG26 includes this photo of the tail of Wrk.nr. 20234 with 23 victories (i.e taken between 9 May and 20 June 1942)

Could anyone point me to possible references on
- a linkage between the wrk.nr. and the type of Fw 190A, ie. 1, 2 or 3 (II. Gruppe changes from 1+2 to 2+3 during this period)
- a photo of this particular aircraft.

I understand that P. Rodeike's "Focke-Wulf Jagdflugzeug - FW 190A, FW 190 "Dora", Ta 152H, Struve-Druck, Eutin, 1998" includes a photo of Ebersberger's Fw 190. Which one?

The WNr. gives away the subtype with 5-digit numbers. A-1 begon with 1, A-2s two & A-3s three.

.... on page 70 for Ebersberger's aircraft (A-2, WNr. 20234) is as follows :
<< Diese Fw 190 A-2, WNr. 20234, wurde mit dem Stkz>>DN+C<< Anfang 1942 an die 4./Jg 26 ausgeliefert und von deren Stkpt. Oblt. Kurt Ebersberger übernommen. Der Werksanstrich ist offensichlitch bei der weißen "7+-" im Rumpfbereich bis zur Seitenflosse mit einem dunkelgrünen Farbton nachbehandelt worden. Auf dem gelben Seitenruder sind 23 Abschußbalken aufgetragen. Unten diskutiert Oblt. Ebersberger mit einigen Flugzeuführern seiner Staffel, von links sind zu erkenen : Ofw. Willi Roth, Lt. Ernst Janda, Fhr. Waldemar Radener und Fw. Adolf Glunz, der zu dieser Zeit die weiße "1+-", eine FW 190 A-2, Wnr. 25207 bei der 4. Staffel des Jg 26 flog. Die Maschine mit der Wnr. 20234, jetzt als weiße "7" bei der 7./JG 51 im Einsatz, wurde am 24. Februar 1943 zu 80% beschädigt, als Ofw. Kurt Rose in Orel beim Start durch Motorstörung abstürzte.>>
Two photos show Ebersberger gesticulating in front of other JG 26 experten such as Glunz, Radener etc. Another photo in the same series appears on page 14 of "Jane's Battles with The Luftwaffe" (Theo Boiten and Martin Bowman) where the Wnr. 20234 is visible on the rudder behind Ebersberger.

The Fw 190 a/c converted for Mk 103 installation were apparently A-5/U11, W.Nr. 1303 (Muster a/c for Tarnewitz 8.43) and five Fw 190 F-8/R3s, W.Nrs. 670965, 670966, 670977, 932880 and 933285 (between 1.44 & 11.44). Apparently no pure fighters were converted only Schlachtflugzeug. I have no information if any ever saw combat service. Only 32 rounds of ammunition per gun were to be carried, so I guess there would have been no long bursts of 30mm fire.
