I've been conducting research on a Luftwaffe officer (Hermann Triebs) who served with the "4. und 5. U.L.K." in Messina, Italy in 1942. He was an Oblt. while serving with the U.L.K., but promoted to Hauptmann in 1943. His last known service was with the Generalkommando 2. Flieger-Korps in 1943. I believe that U.L.K. stands for Unteroffizier-Lehr-Kommando (not sure about that though), but I don't know what type of training they did. Can anyone help with this? I would greatly appreciate any info about the 4 & 5 U.L.K. and/or Hauptman Triebs. Thank you!
