Anyone has any info about this Unit? The reason why it was created? It's pilots? Anything is welcome!

These small units used obsolete aircraft to tow target sleeves for the Flakartillerie. They were based in the Reich and throughout the occupied territories.

Steve - did these aircraft carry any special markings, as did Beam/blind-approach (2 yellow bands in the L/W, Yellow triangles in the case of the RAF) or, even brighter, the British yellow and black diagonal stripes?
TIA,
Tony

Sorry, Tony, I don't do markings - I'm an organization, unit histories and operations man. What I can tell you is that the Fliegerzielverbände were simply a continuation of the Luftdienstverbände with a different name. B.C.Rosch's "Luftwaffe Codes, Markings & Units 1939-1945" has several photos and drawings of Luftdienst aircraft on pages 295-97 and I don't seen any special markings on them. They all carried the standard 4-letter Stammabzeichen and standard paint patterns.
