I am in research for aérial photos and ground pictures of
Tavaux base, near dole - Jura in France, especially during the German controle , when the activity was intense
(II°6./NJG4) and other JG , the camp was often bombarded by the USAAF and certainly photograhied ...Now , this site is a regional airport , toward we can see a good lot of "U" ,
building by german troops for aircraft storage ...

Hello Peter,

What follows is a link to the NARA in the US. On the right side of the page is a link titled Aerial Photographs. This will take you to a page that will outline the inquiry process.

http://www.archives.gov/publications/general_information_leaflets/26.html#aerial/1

Since the 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Group was part of the 8th Air Force, you might turn up something at the 8th Air Force Archives.

http://www.libraries.psu.edu/speccolls/hcla/eighthairforce/

Finally, a bit off topic, but which may be of interest, a book was published: Eyes of the Eighth- A Story of the 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Group 1942-1945 by Patricia Keen and Roger A. Freeman.

Best of luck,
Ed
