Does anyone know where I can find records for individual German POWs? I'm looking for records of a Luftwaffe Hauptmann (Hermann Triebs). The WASt indicated that he was taken as a POW by the Americans in Italy (they didn't provide a year, but I believe it was late 1943 or 1944). Has anyone found such records at NARA? How about in Germany? If so, do they by chance include photos? Thanks!
