Not a clue. All three were formed between 15 March and 15 April 1944 with a Stab and 4 or 5 Kpn. They were probably each assigned to a Kommando Flughafenbereich and used to guard airfields under that Koflug. Between October and December 1944 they were re-designated as Luftwaffen-Festungsbtle. and used as third-rate static defense infantry. Interestingly, Ldssch.Btl.d.Lw. 1, 2 and 3 were all in Finland and then northern Norway. If you learn some concrete information on 4, 5 and 6, I would like to know about it.

The Luftwaffen-Festungs-Btl.5 started in September 1944 in Luftgau VI with 3 Kp. About the 15 September 44 it was incorporated to the 7. Army in the Eifel (mountains) and from the 27 September 1944 it was part of the 89. Inf. Div. of the army.

The numbers of the Ldssch.Btle.d.Lw. were not retained when they became Fest.Btle.:

Ldssch.Btl.d.Lw. 4 became Lw.-Fest.Btl. XXI,
Ldssch.Btl.d.Lw. 5 became Lw.-Fest.Btl. XXII, and
Ldssch.Btl.d.Lw. 6 kept this designation to the end of the war, or, it may have become Lw.-Fest.Btl. XXIII but this change was never entered in the Feldpostübersicht.
