Halifax shot down

I'm looking for information about a Halifax shot down over Poland Aug. 5 1944. Halifax JP276 was on a secret mission flying from Italy to drop supplies to the Polish underground during the Warsaw Uprising and the plane has been uncovered just outside Tarnow recently. Several planes were shot down on the mission with rumours that Russian fighter aircraft were involved. I am looking for information on German fighter/antiaircraft operations in the area on that night to find out who brought the plane down. Thank you.
