sources RAF-losses an raids

Hallo,

I`m searching for sources, books etc. concerning RAF-losses and RAF-raids during the years 1943-45 in the Westfalian area (Western Germany, towns Hamm, Soest, Lippstadt, Geseke, Störmede).
Every help would be greatly appreciated.

Helmut, hello.
I assume you are refering to bombing raids. You need to see the series of books entitled "Bomber Command Losses" 1941, 1942, etc, by WR Chorley. They detail each and every loss, circumstances, crew etc, and very very good. In London you can look them up in the library of the Public Records Office, or the British Library. Alternatively you can purchase them from somewhere like Midland Counties Publications (they have a website). Even though I don't have them, I have studied them in London and are well worth looking at. Good luck.
