Dear friends,
I need your help. At March 15th, 1944 III./JG 3 was fighting with P-47s from 328 FS over the southern part of the Netherlands. The unit was based at Leipheim. 475 Kms from the the area where it was fighting that day. The Thunderbolts were able to shoot down 6 Me 109s although they have claimed 4 Me 109 for sure and one Me 109 probably. But where did the go after the battle? Did they went to Eindhoven airfield for some days? And where did those 6 Me 109s made their crash and whom were the pilots? I hope someone is able to help me.
