This is a webpage from Historisches Centrum Hagen - Online. The site deals with the history of Hagen, Germany, and nearby areas, as described in their general comments:
"The Historical Center in the Eilpe district of the city of Hagen is housed in the "Wippermann-Passage", which was opened in 1998. In a completely renovated former chain-manufacturing plant there, a cultural and museum center was established, which meets highest modern requirements.
The Historical Center is also known beyond the region as a place of historical research and the presentation of history. For the region of South Westphalia and the Ruhr Area it functions as a rallying point for museum and cultural activities.
On the internet the Historical Center provides a summary of its different institutions, sphere of work and programs. For the time being this web-site is available only in German. However, within the limits of our resources we are pleased to answer your inquiries.
