Presented here are articles, forums, information on publications, and links, some of which relate to the Luftwaffe. While a French language site, some effort has been made to present some articles in English. There is a possible tie-in with Aéro-Journal, but that is not clear to me. The address of the website is:

http://aerostories.free.fr

Sections of interest are:

general synopsis

The following articles of interest are currently listed:

Composite and parasite aircraft (In English)
Arado 234, July - August 1944: no ordinary missions (In English)
Reimar & Walter Horten, two brothers, one wing (In English)
Equivalence Board (comparison of ranks)

The first three contain a variety of illustrations, while the last is in tabular form.

A search engine is provided such that you can put in your favorite topic. I tried Me 262 and Hs 129 and found a fair number of articles. Don't, however, expect to find a lot of them translated into English from the original French.

forums

There are two forums of interest:

aviation history
aerontautical technique

Both are in French. From the U.S., I found the going a bit slow. There is some Luftwaffe discussion.

galleries

If you go here and click on "library", you will come to a listing that allows you to see offerings of books in French and what was/is covered in current/previous issues of a number of French magazines.

links

Links are provided to:

Non-French sites

If you read French go to :

Sincerely,

Bertrand H)
