RAF attack on Langeland Island
 

I am researching any info concerning my uncle who took part in a Hampden 44 Squadron raid on Langeland Island on 4 Jul 1940. He never returned and was last seen flying on one engine near the Denmark coast. I thought it would be informative if I tried to track down any info about Luftwaffe activity on that date to see if any combat reports confirm any attacks on that date against any Hampdens.

Is there anyone that may be able to help?
