Default Bf 109 dataplate

Hi All,

a very quick introduction, since this is my first post here.

I collect WWII equipment in general, but have a special fascination for equipment dataplates, having several hundred allied and axis ones, but only 20 or so aircraft plates.

I recently bought three german aircraft plates, and I'll post these as three different topics to avoid confusion.

The first is a plate from a Bf 109, werk nummer W2286, build year 1938, built by Arado . I've looked around the internet and think this is a main data plate for a Bf109 D-1. I would welcome corrections or any more info on it

Best Regards,

Adrian
