Hi all:

I write this message because I'm new in this forum and also to ask you about the Legion Condor documents and info because here, in Spain, nothing remains. I have visited the main Spanish Air Force Archives (located in Villaviciosa de Odón, near Madrid) and there are there only few documents related to Legion Condor, so I suppose (and personnel of this archives told me) that the Legion Condor documents were transferred to Germany after the Spanish Civil War. I'm very interested on Legion Condor losses.

Perhaps some of you had seen these documents or any other related information. Any info about Legion Condor would be appreciated.

Also, if you have any question about Legion Condor in Spain, particularly the fighter unit (J/88) will be very nice to answer.

Legion condor

Hello
I bought the metal plate marked 'Legion Condor' at an attic sale in the U.K. The seller told me that it came from one of the two planes shot down
in the Spanish Civil War. You can see that it is marked K/88 and Ju52 also Legion Condor. It measureas 22X12cms and is made of copper covered with verdigris. I do not think it is an aircraft part and the two holes at each corner would suggest that it would be tied or wired to something. What can it be?. Photo attached (I hope)
