Simon's interest clearly has focused on Hans-Ulrich Rudel, with 4 of 6 color profiles on this pilot's aircraft. The site address is:

The site, as of this writing, consists of an introduction, color profiles, photos of Simon's excellent model handiwork, and a links section which appears to have some links new to me. The color profiles were drawn by Simon and are of an excellent artistic quality. Simon provides references and a photo and brief biographical outline of each pilot. The aircraft illustrated are:

Hi!
On 8 May 1945 Gruppenkommodore Major Karl Kennel crashlandet this plane at Kitzingen airfield!

I´m interested in the colours of that plane!
Maybe RLM 81/82/76??
Pics of that plane are in the "Luftwaffe at War Series, Focke Wulf 190, 1943-1945".

There are about 6 photos of all angles of this aircraft. Based on these, I interpret its camouflage scheme to have been the standard 74/75/75 scheme overwhich was oversprayed 81 Braunviolett. The latter colour was field-applied in order to assist in ground concealment and was apllied to the wing and fuselage uppersurfaces, and landing gear doors.

I visited your site Simon and was most impressed with your artistic talents. Outstanding work.

New are a Fw 190 A-8 flown by Alfred Bindseil, a heavy improved Profile of Wilhelm Moritz´s flown Fw 190 A-8/R-8 and some layout changes!

Can anyone tell me what was the camo pattern of Rudel's Ju87-B aircraft? Was it in splitter camo or was it uniformly in Schwarzgrün?

Since December 26th there is a update of my site avalible.
The Fw 190 A-8 flown by Alfred Bindseil and the Fw 190 A-8 flown by 2./Jg1 have been improved.
Also avalible is a new Profile. Fw 190 A-8/R-11 flown by Guenter Migge, 1./NJGr. 10, Werneuchen 1944.
